I am convinced there are folks being paid to work the message boards. I have no doubt much of the funding for these boards comes from those making money by manipulating share prices. IHUB is funny in that it demands paid pumpers disclose that they are compensated but I ask you have you ever seen a basher disclose that they are in fact compensated? lol By the same token does anyone believe that so many aliases spend 24/7 posting negatively on stock boards that they claim to have no vested interest in? I hope none here are dumb enough to believe that. Reminds me of a certain alias that used to claim there was no such thing as naked shorting and then when regulators were forced to admit it was in fact going on changed its tune (snicker) to well it happens sometimes but is done by market makers only to provide liquidity and is covered within a few days! (Double snicker) So to answer your question, you bet I believe most skeptics are compensated to post negatively. No doubt there is an occasional frustrated former employee or someone who works for a competitor but I think the great majority post to purposely create fear and doubt with hopes of causing them to sell their shares. This is especially true when those short are exposed to a very real risk of experiencing substantial losses. I think we'll be reading lots more about these folks in the not too distant future. I can't think of a worse job than being paid to lie for a living. Reminds me of folks getting paid to perform phone sex. Sad! BTW if you believe the short in JBII is only 9000 shares you really need to spend some time at this site :
