Solaris Power Cells Begins Consumer Vapor Mod Focus Study

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., April 9, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Solaris Power Cells, Inc. the creators of the Solaris SMART-CELL "Passive Electron Storage Array" ™, (the "Company") (OTCQB:SPCL) - Germany WKN: A1W9W5 - is pleased to announce that Solaris Power Cells Inc. has begun its consumer focus studies with Vape Mod users. Solaris has accelerated its development of a high end Passive Electron Storage Array™ (PESA™) powered Electronic Cigarette Vapor Mod also commonly known as a Vape Mod.

Solaris™ has successfully finished the beta testing of the first Passive Electron Storage Array™ (PESA) powered electronic cigarette vapor mod prototype and their lead Research Scientist will be taking it to "The Vapor Door", an e-cigarette and vapor retail store located in the heart of Palm Springs, California for a joint consumer focus study.

The prototype test results showed that by using the revolutionary PESA technology, Solaris Power Cells was able to develop a unique e-cigarette vapor mod with a switch for two phases.

The first phase will allow the consumer to put a standard "juice" tank on the PESA™ vaporizer mod and use it as if it were just a typical mod already on the shelves in nearly all vapor stores.

Juice is the term used for nicotine, caffeine, melatonin, or nicotine-less flavored oils and fragrances that are commonly used in vaporizers for inhaling.

Flip the switch, and phase two will be for the consumer that wants to put a custom re-buildable drip (RBD) on their vaporizer. A re-buildable drip is a term used to describe a vaporizer that has interchangeable coils and allows stores and or the more proficient Vaporizer user to build their mod to a specific resistance. The consumer can then use Ohm's law to build their RBD in a way which allows more or less current to the coils. This directly correlates to the type of product able to be vaporized and the amount of vapor the consumer is then able to inhale.

Currently, vaporizers are being marketed and used for juices, waxes and dry herbs. The Solaris PESA™ vaporizer mod will be able to supply sufficient current for all three uses.

The consumer focus study with "The Vapor Door" will be used by the Solaris Power Cells research team to gather market research and gauge enthusiasm for a unique vaporizer which can be used by the passive vaporizer user while having the ability to fire sub-ohm RBD's for the enthusiast.

The research team is also planning to collect data on the consumers' reaction to the look and feel of the PESA™ vapor mod as well as do demonstrations of the unique, extremely rapid re-charging capabilities.

A typical battery has a lifespan of typically 500 charge and discharge cycles, whereas the Solaris Power Cells can have towards 500,000 charge and discharge cycles.
