You also live in a country, Andy, that has very few resources when it comes to oil, gas and coal, so obviously you'll have to pay for the importation of fuel. The US sits on tremendous fuel resources. The great deceiver in office has allowed ZERO new drilling permits on government land during his reign. Citizens of the US own those land masses, yet the only new drilling that has occurred in the US has happened on private lands. When you have the admin's own energy czar state that he would like to see the cost of gasoline at $7-$8/gallon, and purposely no allow drilling on the land owned by the citizens of this country, the result has been a more than doubling of the price of gasoline from the $1.88 when the deceiver was elected to the National average of almost $3.90 per gallon. There is a vicious agenda within the mindsets of those instituting these policies. We have had very little in the way of an energy policy for years, but the current regime offers absolutely nothing in the way of an energy policy outside of pissing away tens of billions of dollars on worthless green energy projects. And for those who support this type of waste, they are not only complicit in these destructive failed policies but also guilty of supporting even further theft from tax payers and the middle class of America.
