Baltia Airlines Nearing Phase III of Certification

Baltia Airlines (OTCQB: BLTA), the only company undergoing Part 121 Air Carrier Certification, is just a few weeks away from entering the final phase of certification. Phase III, also known as “Performance Assessment,” it a safety-themed procedure composed of two brief tasks. The first is a series of “tabletop exercises” during which the FAA assesses Baltia’s crew’s ability to perform at a certain standard that would give grounds for conducting proving flights. The second task is an evacuation demonstration to ensure the crew understands how to engage safety equipment during an emergency.
Fortunately for Baltia, these tasks can be completed in just a few days. However, because the company must accommodate the FAA’s schedule, it is speculated that approximately 2-3 weeks are required for these tasks to be completed, followed immediately by proving flights. At the current pace, it seems as though late May is when Phase III will be completed, and proving runs will begin afterward.
