Way too simple. I have a spreadsheet that includes brokers commissions, the original cost of the stock, the interest "sacrificed" by tying up the $ in Baltia, and tax consequences of selling as a short or long term investment....among a few other variables I have though up and added over the years. Fortunately, as of June of this year, all of my shares will be long term........but if you have been following....my son's and my fiance's won't be long term till about February/March of next year, so they will be looking at 20% taxes vs my 15%.
Now, just recently I heard Obama snuck in another unjustified and ridiculous tax, but I'm not sure what effect it will have on the numbers as of yet...............
And oh yes....I would start more like around 10 cents and go up from there.
