IC Places Signs Strategic Alliance Agreement With 3D Virtual Web To Joint Market and Develop Virtual World City

http://www.icplaces.com/ic-places-signs-strat...tual-world

IC Places, Inc. OTCQB: Symbol PNCH. ( http://www.icplaces.com ) and 3D Virtual Web, Inc. have signed an agreement to  jointly marketing and develop Virtual World City.  Virtual World City is an online virtual world created by 3D Virtual Web, Inc.  Under the agreement the companies will joint market and share in revenues from the resulting commerce.

With the help of viewers, free client programs, and residents, Virtual World citizens personalized avatars explore the 3-D world known as the grid. The world can be manipulated and changed through external and imported software as well as the procedural scripting language. Accounts are free and allow you to create an avatar that can be human, animal, vegetable, mineral or anything you want and they travel by walking, running, flying or teleporting.

In the Virtual World, should your avatar choose to buy something, there is an internal economy and currency. Simply purchase virtual dollars with real life currencies and you are on your way to the lap of virtual luxury.  Starting April 2014, GT Credit Cards will be made available.  This is the 1st ever unsecured Credit Card for shopping in the virtual worlds.

The Business of Virtual World.

Recently  facebook made a LONG-TERM bet on the future of the business of virtual Worlds. Mark Zuckerberg, the boss of Facebook, splashed out some $2 billion on Oculus VR, a company that makes headsets that let virtual world citizens and gamers immerse themselves in virtual worlds. Oculus isn’t the only firm trying to turn virtual worlds into real money by bringing it to the masses. But its combination with the giant social network is certainly eye-opening.

For a long time, gamers have dreamed of wearable headsets that make them feel like they are actually inside virtual worlds. Thanks to big advances in computing power and software, that dream is much closer to becoming a reality. Oculus Rift, the prototype headset that Oculus has developed, was recently on show at SXSW, a techie fest in Texas, and wowed delegates lucky enough to wear it and experience the company’s digital rendition of the 700-foot Wall that protects the Seven Kingdoms in HBO’s fantasy series “Game of Thrones”.

Companies like IBM, Cisco and Intel Corporations use virtual worlds for meetings, interviews, guest speaker events and training for other employees. The people at IBM are truly embracing virtual worlds they have created for their employees. Chuck Hamilton, the virtual learning leader at IBM’s Center for Advanced Learning, claims that virtual worlds are ideal for the company. Hamilton recently told Hypergrid Business that “At IBM, we have over 400,000 employees and 70 percent or so are outside the Americas and 44 percent of the population works outside a traditional office — we are virtual by nature.”

IBM is more than ready to label their time with virtual worlds a success. Their first event held in by them in a virtual world was a Virtual World Conference for over 200 members and 75 percent of them thought the event went well.  An article on the website of Engage Digital, a company that produces technology focused industry conferences, claims the event saved IBM $320,000

The joint efforts of IC Places, Inc (PNCH) and Virtual World City's parent company 3D Virtual Web, Inc. will be giving the visitors a unique and expanded movie viewing experience. The strategic alliance between IC Places, Inc. and 3D Virtual Web, Inc. make it possible for customers, outfitted with an avatar, to enter the Virtual World City with friends for an?immersive, social, entertainment venue. With the city theme, these theaters will also reflect tourism features, drawing visitors from worldwide real life locations.

The first location is based in the new virtual city of Hollywood California,  ( http://Hollywood.CA.VirtualWorldCity.com/ ) where visitors can teleport to the city and visit the soon to be released IC Places Drive In theater and the IC Places MultiPlex Movie Theater,  where visitors will easily be able to view new movie trailers and watch movies with friends. Unparalleled by any media provider, IC Places, Inc. will open several new possibilities through virtual theaters located in Virtual World City.
Combining IC Places city websites with Virtual World City will make it easy for companies to set up and maintain communications well planning virtual world meetings, interviews, guest speaker events and training for other employees. It will also me a great tool for clubs and groups to get together for interactive virtual events where distance and travel costs become a thing of the past.
