Medvirkende faktorer til det markante løft i aktieomsætningen skyldes dels investorernes store interesse for børsnoteringerne af ISS og OW Bunker samt aktiesplit i større selskaber. En tredje faktor er, at de rekordmange indeksstigninger i C20 CAP er blevet omsat til yderligere likviditet i markedet, eftersom de store udbyttebetalinger fra C20-selskaberne typisk geninvesteres.

Et stærkt tegn på den større investeringsvillighed i aktier er at der i 1. kvartal er blevet solgt og udstedt nye aktier for 24 mia. gennem emissioner eller ved større ejeres salg af eksisterende aktier.
