You have no doubt seen me on both sides of the issue, and I for one do appreciate hearing all reasonable opinions. That is what this board is all about.
And today.....as I have been for almost a month now....I am feeling very confident that Baltia is currently running strong in the certification process. As a matter of fact, it is the first time in Baltia's history that I have ever seen them AHEAD of schedule (N706BL wasn't due back in the hangar until May 26th.....then that was moved to the first week of April.....and now N706BL entered the hangar just last Monday - March 24th!).
Yes, I still would love to have HQ keep us informed about what is going on, but their COMPLETE level of silence right now (you can't get any of them on the phone or even to return a call) actually adds to my confidence: It looks to me like they are at a point so far along in the process tha they don't want to accidentally slip up and reveal "insider" information - and heck, if they aren't picking up the phone for anyone, we can all feel pretty confident that they are NOT in need of any money!
I also like hearing that practically no one is down here at JFK and that most of the staff is spending their time up there in Michigan - allegedly getting the job done!
I could be wrong, but I am still sticking to my belief that the Perfect(ly Good) Storm is heading our way and should be here around the first of May.
