We would be wise to purchase a couple of the hemp harvesting machines, secure the local farmer talent and their land to rotate their crop out with our hemp. Land is fairly cheap in the agriculture zone, but buying land in the out years wouldn't be most beneficial.
My personal family experience here in Georgia, it is always much cheaper to lease land for a single growing season than to actually purchase the property. It helps the local land owner with land that is not in production and allows hundreds of acres of farm production at a much reduced price. Besides whether cotton or something like hemp, it really taxes the minerals of the soil and would need to be rotated and not used year after year.
