Follow the bouncing bipple. Based on the evidence of past and present, we appear to be dealing with modern-day pirates who roam the OTC in search of booty and hapless victims as those pirates of yore roamed the Spanish Main and preyed on Spanish treasure fleets. Florida, then as now, offered harbor for pirates -- nowadays in a white collar way.
In the AVNE affair, they attempted seizure of Berkeley Bio and its crown jewels. Slapped down for the time being by SEC, their piratical scheme backfired.
They've been loading up AEGY with obscene levels of cronyistic convertible debt and figure on sticking it to SKTO common shareholders. To make life sweeter, they apparently high jacked AEGY and awarded themselves officer titles.
These are the annals of modern-day pirates.
Their blinding greed and severe fiduciary lapses lost them AVNE to the Grey Sheets. If they're hankering to bury AEGY in that cemetery, too, they're making progress.
