The original $12 million was just to get this off the ground i.e get license. There's been talk of more invested but that's just rumors right now. The property is 10 acres there will be multiple buildings with multiple stories built over the next few years to obtain the 1.3 mil lbs.
You're very right about the nutrients and other devices used to grow today, it's amazing the yield and turn around time.
