Here is where I am happy I own this stock... Verbally spouting "in the interests of the company, its shareholders..."
Look it is one thing to say shareholders in any announcement, it is different to declare a dividend, and clean up the reputation. What it is clear to me is that she now understands that the company IS the shareholders... The CEO of a Bank acts on behalf of it shareholders, the CEO of a Auto Manufacturer acts on behalf of its shareholders, why not the CEO of an upstart Vodka importer...? She finally seems to understand.
Banks take steps we think are mean, but they do it for the shareholders, trying to find a way to always maximize profit... That translates to the value of the company and indirectly, its share price. That value is power. Employees are shareholders. Neighbors and friends are shareholders. Focusing on the value for the shareholders creates future power when it comes to additional financial moves. If they deliver to Brazil and DR in April, that is direct bottom line value increase, and to do it monthly is extraordinary. This would place them in a VERY unique position of allocating to a fund on a monthly basis to repurchase shares.... It will be small at first I am sure, But I do expect that the repurchase program is high on their list... Adding shares back to the treasury for later use when the value is higher is just smart. Those shares can be used for strategic partnerships, employee bonus plans, sales incentives, etc... This lady has finally got the picture!
OMG, there is so much coming... and re-upping for Money TV creates a level of exposure that will amplify this point, you do not do that if you do not expect to be announcing things along the way... Grab your hat there is a strong wind blowing that will carry this up and away
