The MMs job is to keep the churn going. They are not playing games. They have a PPS that they calculate will keep as many buys as sells going on a constant basis. Due the overwhelming interest and volume per day of this ticker, there would be way too many buys on the plate and not enough sell orders to fulfill the flow. For a short term trader, it is their job to figure out where the MMs think the PPS should be to keep the even churn going and then they can flip on a continual basis. At some point based on many factors, the MMs will let the PPS go higher because the churn can be maintained at that higher level.
For those that are long on this ticker, it is their jobs to watch or not watch how the MMs keep the stock in a good churn.
Not so far in the near future I believe the MMs will let this run up and maintain a new churn PPS.
