Defying an SEC O&D bar is a very serious offense. As a lawyer, he could be disbarred not to mention facing the full wrath and ire of the SEC. Under the recent Sarbanes Oxley, the fines and penalties can be enormous, in the millions with possible criminal charges. No blithesome ride into the sunset.
