I am currently in a stock that also was forced into the grays after suspension as the SEC suspended them for spamming several years ago. This was another suspension orchestrated by the shorts just like SRGE. The stock subsequently delisted and merged (via merger notification to brokers and we found out about that via another investor who's small town broker was nice enough to email him the notification) into another connected company (bot more there too) in Germany and then delisted again and merged again back to the U.S. into a private stock company (this merger notification went into my broker account). Same original ownership today by the founder.
I've been holding for several years without official information except I was able to trace the merger via a merger notice and my brokers statement advising of the two mergers. There were never any bankruptcies just two delistings. The stock originally went grey after the initial suspension and a letter was received from the company assuring shareholders even though the shares were illiquid under gray trading, they were protected from adverse short interests. That was before the merger and the second merger delisted in Germany due to inactivity from trading before it merged into the private company. Virtually no news while in the German listing before delisting and going private where there is again no news today. I see the no news feature as the company at some point will sell and is working behind the lines. So the way I see it, I still own my shares in the sizable private company and am currently waiting for a NEW IPO at some point. I expect multi $s for my shares as the controlling owner also owns common shares. Not happy about the many year time frame per the above, but my dd tells me a Big payoff will eventually happen as it will for SRGE investors. Hope we don't have to wait so long here. I will not advise the company names for the above information but there is a website out there now for the private international company in six languages.
"The big money is made by the sittin' and the waitin' not the thinking." Jesse Livermore. Thanks BMT for the Jesse Livermore information. I think it is very true and SRGE and many other companies are in the same situation while shareholders are protected.
