As Baltia Airlines (OTCQB: BLTA) approaches certification to fly passengers from JFK International Airport to St. Petersburg, Russia, the company has several exciting events planned over the next few weeks that will undoubtedly increase investor awareness of this startup international airline.
As of 2014, Baltia is on a set schedule of events for certification. To simplify – there is no room for delays or setbacks at this point in time. There is a defined series of procedures that the company is aware of that will be completed from now through mid June, upon which time there will be a Part 121 Air Carrier Certificate issued to Baltia. In addition, the Department of Transportation (DOT) has statistically given airlines a period of 30-45 days prior to certification to sell tickets and begin advertisement, which means Baltia will begin selling tickets around the middle of May.
The most exciting news to come is the arrival of the N706BL in JFK Airport in May. The large 747-200 aircraft, capable of carrying 350 passengers and 875,000 pounds, will unquestionably create a massive buying frenzy for the company’s stock once it has left Michigan for New York. The current plan is to film the plane flying with New York City in the background. This film will then be sent out to several news and media outlets that will distribute the news of a new international airline to tens of millions of viewers in New York and elsewhere.
On top of ticket sales, Baltia has an incredibly powerful series of advertisements prepared for release once the certification is within reach. This is simply a matter of 4-6 weeks. However, one aspect of the company’s operations that has unfortunately been overlooked by the investor community is the news about the 747-200’s final maintenance check prior to certification. This check, paired with simulator training for Baltia’s pilots, is the single most important event for the company at this point in time. So what is there to report?
As of now, it seems that the final maintenance check for the N706BL has been accelerated by moving the schedule up by one week. This 4-week procedure will be completed around the middle of April, and news of the beginning of this procedure is expected before the end of March (next week!!!). The simulator portion of the training will be timed such that both the maintenance check and training will be completed together, with the final steps of certification being done in May.
One of the many questions that has been posed to Baltia is in regard to the cost of tickets. However, the major source of revenue for the company will come in the form of cargo and mail. For cargo alone, Baltia will make $680,000 per round-trip (180,000 pounds, $4/pound), and significantly more for mail (per pound). When combined with ticket revenue, each round trip flight will generate well over $700,000. For a single plane, the profit margins are approximately 25% for the first year, and rumor has it that there is a second set of pilots joining the simulator training (hint: second plane!!!).
Now is the time when the intelligent investors are separated from those who do not see what is right in front of them. The truth is this: Baltia Airlines will fly passengers in 2014. Baltia will generate hundreds of millions of dollars in PROFIT within its first 3 years of flights, and it will completely shatter any projections of its stock price. The company will turn many average Joes into multi-millionaires. It is simply a matter of who is capable of understanding the fundamentals of this incredibly exciting opportunity. There will never be another opportunity as lucrative as this one. Baltia has set the most demanding standard for certification in the airline industry, and there may never be another international airline to Eastern Europe based out of the US. And even if there is such a company in the future, the odds of it being a publicly traded entity are slim to none. Every investor dreams of that one investment that gets them from the slums to the penthouse overlooking Central Park in NYC. This is it. Take the plunge and be rewarded, or watch others make it to the top.
