I was wondering about that too. The way I read it was that there was not enough suppliers through Health Canada, hence the importance of getting all license growers up and running. The idea being that on the MMJ end, patients would not have to suffering during the interim, when there would not be enough supply through Health Canada. My first thought, however, was that once the license growers are available, the quality and different selections of strains would make even the best home grower take a look?? In Denver, up the road from me, I'm hearing that the choices and quality will have a bigger influence over the possible cost reduction in growing your own, and eventually take a bite out of the black market. This is antidotal info only however. I have a question, that can probably be found on the WEB, or may have even been discussed here, but does anyone know how limited and/or unlimited someone can obtain MMJ in Canada? For example, New Mexico is very strict. There is a list of around 14 conditions that qualify for the program, and in some cases you need 2 different Dr. recommendations, for any mental qualification like PTSD. You also must show in some cases other medications were tried and failed if I am not mistaken. In Cali, you just have to go get the script. Which model does Canada most follow, or is it different entirely??
