Armanino Consulting Clients Recognized for Outstanding Business Success

SAN RAMON, Calif., March 19, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Armanino LLP , ( www.amllp.com ) the nation's 29 th largest accounting and business consulting firm, today announced that two customers, Entropic and TenCate Advanced Composites, were recognized as finalists for the 2014 Microsoft Dynamics® Customer Excellence Awards. Entropic was recognized for Business Operations Excellence and TenCate for Manufacturing Industry Excellence.

Microsoft Dynamics is a line of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions that help business work more effectively. Established in 1997, the Customer Excellence Awards are awarded each year at the Microsoft Convergence user conference in the United States. Armanino is a Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle member, the top one percent of partners worldwide, who has nominated six finalists and four Customer Excellence Award winners over the past five years.

"Armanino is proud that our clients have been recognized nationally in the Microsoft Convergence Customer Excellence Awards program for their measurable successes," said Tom Mescall, partner-in-charge of Armanino's consulting practice. "Our consultants serve as trusted business advisors, implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM to assist our clients in streamlining their accounting, operations and sales functions and enabling them to spend more time focused on growth plans and strategic leadership."

Entropic (Nasdaq: ENTR ), a world leader in semiconductor solutions for the connected home, successfully deployed Microsoft Dynamics AX and Armanino's Microsoft Dynamics AX for High Tech Industries and Supply Chain Interface modules. The combined industry-specific solutions helped Entropic to:

  • Save more than $1 million in the first three-months of implementation due to the Company's ability to quickly transition a newly acquired entity off its costly legacy platform and onto the Microsoft Dynamics system;
  • Grow into new geographic regions and expand product offerings; and
  • Integrate its supply chain with outside manufacturing to greatly improve operational capabilities and work-in-progress (WIP) visibility.

TenCate Advanced Composites, a multinational manufacturer that combines materials technologies with chemical processes in the development and production of functional materials with distinctive characteristics, such as aerospace composites, worked with Armanino to deploy Microsoft Dynamics AX with measurable results that include:

  • 10% reduction in Accounts Receivables' days outstanding and increase in cash on hand
  • Reduction of on-hand inventories of TenCate composite materials by 10%
  • Internal rate of return (IRR) of 99.1% with a resulting payback period of 0.9 years

Microsoft Dynamics customers, partners and team members submit nominations. Judging teams for each of the categories rated nominations on category by specific criteria. Proposed winners for each category were then presented and reviewed by a panel of Microsoft executive judges for final approval. As part of that final review, winning customers were chosen.
