aggressive shipping plans from Navials website- tenn21 or whoever has driven Highway 1 recently in Baja, just exactly what improvements were made -I know they were made -in last couple years to said hwy S of Ensenada-did they just add truck passing lanes on hills-how much was expanded to 4 lanes-Mex had plans for a new 4 lane highway nearer the coast but seems obvious to me that wont happen due to lack of govt money
Expanded Shipping Phases
Phase 1
Existing highway infrastructure between the mines and the port
will not permit expansion beyond 200,000 tpm / 2,500,000 tpa in Panamax Bulk Carriers
Phase 2
Scheduled highway expansion to 4 lanes and Ensenada area port improvements will allo
w increased shipments up to 400,000 tpm / 5,000,000 tpa in Panamax Bulk Carriers
Phase 3
By 2014 we plan to construct a new, private ship loading facility close to the mines which will allow shipments up to 800,000 tpm / 10,000,000 tpa in Capesize Bulk Carriers
Phase 4
Should the well publicized creation of the Port of Colonet occur
(which is largely surrounded by our mineral claims)
we will have the opportunity to ship additional ore in Capesize Bulk Carriers which would allow a total of 15,000,000 / 20,000,000 tpa in Capesize Bulk Carriers
