ION Geophysical Corporation (NYSE: IO) today reported record quarterly revenues of $218.7 million for fourth quarter 2013, an increase of 26% from revenues of $173.1 million in fourth quarter 2012. Income from operations, also a quarterly record, was $64.2 million, compared to $24.9 million in fourth quarter 2012. Fourth quarter 2013 net income was $19.8 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, compared to net income of $26.8 million, or $0.17 per diluted share, in fourth quarter 2012. Fourth quarter 2013 net income was impacted by the Company's share of restructuring and special items from its INOVA Geophysical joint venture, as well as losses incurred by the OceanGeo joint venture. Excluding the impact of the restructuring and special items, net income was $53.4 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, in fourth quarter 2013. Adjusted EBITDA increased 67% to $104.5 million, compared to $62.7 million in fourth quarter 2012. A reconciliation of Adjusted EBITDA can be found in the financial tables of this press release.
