HCA Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCA) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, HCA Inc., proposes to offer, subject to market and other considerations, $3 billion aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes. Actual terms of the notes, including interest rate and principal amount, will depend on market conditions at the time of pricing. HCA Inc. intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to redeem and repurchase all of the $1.5 billion aggregate principal amount outstanding of 81/2% senior secured notes due 2019 and all of the $1.25 billion aggregate principal amount outstanding of 77/8% senior secured notes due 2020, and to pay related fees and expenses and for general corporate purposes.
