Western Gas Partners Announces Pricing of $500 Million of Senior Notes

Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES) today announced that it has priced an offering of $100,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of 2.60% senior notes due 2018 at a price to the public of 100.857% of their face value and $400,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of 5.45% senior notes due 2044 at a price to the public of 98.443% of their face value. The senior notes due 2018 are being offered as additional senior notes under an indenture pursuant to which Western Gas Partners issued $250 million aggregate principal amount of 2.60% senior notes due 2018 on August 14, 2013. These additional senior notes due 2018 are identical to, and will be treated as a single class of debt securities with, the previously issued senior notes due 2018 under the indenture governing such notes. The offering of both series of senior notes is expected to close on March 20, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to repay all of the amounts outstanding under Western Gas Partners' revolving credit facility and for general partnership purposes.
