The Asia Pacific Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE: APB) announced today that the stockholders of the Fund have approved the investment management agreement between the Fund and Value Partners Hong Kong Limited ("Value Partners") at a special meeting of stockholders held earlier today, September 6, 2013. The Fund further announced that Value Partners will become the Fund's investment manager effective October 1, 2013, succeeding Baring Asset Management (Asia) Limited ("Barings"), the Fund's current investment manager.

(the "Fund") (NYSE: APB) announced today that the Fund and Baring Asset Management (Asia) Limited ("Barings") have agreed to the termination of the investment management agreement between them upon the approval by the stockholders of the Fund of an investment management agreement between the Fund and Value Partners Hong Kong Limited ("Value Partners") at a special meeting of stockholders scheduled to be held on September 6, 2013.

February was yet another month of exceptional returns for foreign equity funds sold in Canada, while most balanced, fixed income and domestic equity fund categories also posted strong gains.
