U.S. stocks add to gains after ISM; Dow up 1%
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks added to gains Monday, after data from the Institute for Supply Management showed that the U.S. manufacturing sector expanded in September for the first time in four months, with the ISM manufacturing gauge ticking higher to 51.5 last month, from 49.6 in August, above analysts' expectations for a rise to 49.7.
