EMCORE Corporation (Nasdaq:EMKR), a leading provider of compound semiconductor-based components and subsystems for the fiber optics and space solar power markets, announced today the introduction of the OTS-RSU 3 GHz RF Redundancy Switch Units (RSU) for the Optiva platform. The Optiva platform includes a wide range fiber optic transport products for satellite and microwave communications from 1 MHz to 40 GHz. The OTS-RSU series supports satellite signal transport link redundancy applications for 1x2, 1x4 and 1x8 redundant switch configurations when integrated with Optiva RF fiber optic transmitters and receivers.
