Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced revenue of $75.9 million for its first quarter of fiscal 2014 ending September 30, 2013. This represents a 0.3% decrease compared to revenue of $76.1 million reported for the first quarter of fiscal 2013 and a 4.5% decrease compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013. GAAP net income / loss for the first quarter was approximately breakeven, which includes $3.7 million expense related to Enterasys Networks acquisition, and is a decrease year-over-year compared to GAAP net income of $12.9 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2013. The prior year included a $11.5 million one-time gain on the sale of facilities. On a non-GAAP basis, net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 was $5.3 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, compared to non-GAAP net income for the first quarter of fiscal 2013 of $3.5 million, or $0.04 per diluted share.
