Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Books-A-Million store teams and through their partnership with the local community, over 180 charities nationwide received donations.

The coffee will be distributed to troops serving overseas in hopes to give troops a little taste of home this Holiday season. The coffee is currently being packaged and will be immediately shipped to troops serving overseas through a partnership with Soldiers' Angels and CauseKeepers.

Books-A-Million, Inc. (NASDAQ:BAMM) today announced financial results for the 13-week and 39-week periods ended November 2, 2013. Revenues for the 13-week period ended November 2, 2013 decreased 3.5% to $100.4 million, compared with revenues of $104.0 million in the year-earlier period. Comparable store sales for the third quarter declined 8.5%, compared with the 13-week period in the prior year. Net loss from continuing operations for the third quarter was $7.1 million, or $0.47 per diluted share, compared with net loss from continuing operations of $2.7 million, or $0.18 per diluted share, in the year-earlier period.
