Co-authored Cannabis Chemotherapy –The Science of Treating and Preventing Cancer with Concentrated Marijuana Medicine. This 350 page book is designed to present the hardcore science to the layman in an understandable manner. Thousands of copies of this book have been given away free to patients.
In 1972, D. Gold developed methods and techniques for the extraction and purification of medicinal cannabinoids that he detailed in the 100,000+ selling book Cannabis Alchemy. This work was carried out with Dr. Charles Apel. This was the first book on cannabis technology written from a consumer’s point of view. (Cannabis Alchemy available at Amazon.)
Gold went on to edit, design and publish the first edition of Ed Rosenthal’s Marijuana Growers Guide and worked with Tom Forcade in the founding of High Times magazine.
