HDI Landing Gear USA Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Héroux-Devtek Inc., signs long-term contract with Boeing to supply 777 landing gear

Héroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX: HRX), ("Héroux-Devtek" or the "Corporation"), a leading Canadian manufacturer of aerospace products, announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary HDI Landing Gear USA Inc. has signed a long-term contract with The Boeing Company to supply complete landing gear systems for the Boeing 777 and 777X programs. This contract, the largest ever awarded to Landing Gear operations, follows the signature of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Boeing, announced on September 16, 2013.

Dr. Kooi Ong Tong, of Level 3, Suite 3A, Menara KLK, No 1 Jalan PJU 7/6, Mutiara Damansara, 47810 Petaling Jaya Selangor, Malaysia, announced today that through a series of estate planning transactions he has become the ultimate beneficial owner of the 6,238,400 common shares of Taiga Building Products Ltd. ("Taiga") currently held by Genghis S.a r.l. ("Genghis"), a Luxembourg corporation, representing approximately 19.25% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Taiga. Dr. Tong is a Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taiga. Genghis is wholly owned by 3Cs Investments Limited, a Cayman Islands Corporation. Genghis and 3Cs Investments Limited were previously controlled by a trust whose beneficiaries included members of the Tong family. Genghis and 3Cs Investments Limited are now controlled by a trust whose sole beneficiary is Dr. Tong. As a result of these transactions, Dr. Tong now owns, directly or indirectly, or exercises control or direction, over 6,238,400 common shares of Taiga, representing approximately 19.25% of the total number of issued and outstanding common shares of Taiga. Beneficial ownership of the securities was acquired as part of a series of private estate planning transactions involving Dr. Tong and the Tong family. Dr. Tong has no current intention of acquiring any further securities of Taiga.

Madison Pacific Properties Inc. (the Company) (TSX: MPC)(TSX: MPC.C), a Vancouver-based real estate company, announces that it has made a $13.4 Million equity investment for a 61% interest in a portfolio of 12 industrial properties located in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. The investment was made through a newly formed limited partnership with other investors and was funded from cash and the Company's existing credit facilities. The limited partnership acquired the portfolio of properties for $61.7 Million and funded the acquisition through equity funding from its partners and by assuming existing debt on the properties and obtaining additional mortgage financing. The portfolio includes approximately 98 acres of land and 538,600 square feet of building space leased to a single tenant, Taiga Building Products, an industry leader in building products distribution.
