Google Enterprise Recognizes Partner of Image Sensing Systems, Agosto as Global Cloud Platform Partner of the Year

ST. PAUL, Minn., March 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Image Sensing Systems. Inc. (Nasdaq: ISNS ), the world-leading developer of above-ground detection and information management solutions, announced today that its partner, Agosto Inc, was named Google Enterprise Global Partner of the Year for Cloud Platform. Agosto was instrumental in the development of Image Sensing System's CitySync Safety platform. The award was presented this week at Google's annual Global Enterprise Partner Summit in San Francisco, California.

CitySync Safety is an innovative cloud-platform back office solution that automatically turns data collected from license plate recognition (LPR) technology into crisply analyzed information. This next-generation software is specially designed to integrate with the company's globally leading LPR solutions, including the most sophisticated fixed and mobile cameras, capable of reading hundreds of plates simultaneously. As cameras retrieve images, the back office software captures license plate numbers in real time and cross-tabulates them against local and national hot-list databases. The data also can be archived temporarily in compliance with state and federal regulations for retroactive searches of vehicles connected to crime scenes or suspects.

"We are very excited for Agosto's recognition, which we believe further validates the power and potential of our CitySync Safety product. We have a long legacy of innovation and developing breakthrough technologies for our markets. The partnership between ISS and Agosto had the right combination of vision, strategy and ability to bring our vision for CitySync Safety to life," said Kris Tufto, CEO of Image Sensing Systems. "We continue to investigate new ways to apply sensing capabilities that connect the physical and digital worlds, including mobile and network connected devices and other ground-breaking products to make our cities safer, more livable, and sustainable."

Image Sensing Systems partnered with Agosto, a Google Apps and cloud product development firm, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to help bring CitySync Safety to fruition. Agosto provides IT services including Google Apps deployment and builds award-winning products on the Google Cloud Platform. The company also deploys Google Enterprise Search solutions and provides managed services and support.
