The Turgeon East zone was identified in 2012, by prospecting a CARDS target defined by Diagnos, with the discovery of grab samples grading up to 6.92% approximately 4.0 kilometers south of the Powerline Cu-Zn Deposit (See Press Release 2013-02-26). A follow-up trenching and stripping program was recently undertaken to define the size and shape of last year's Turgeon East discovery.

Currently, stripping and trenching programs are underway at on the Nicholas-Denys porphyry and surrounding skarn units to validate the preliminary anomalies from the recently completed IP surface geophysical survey. Following the discovery of copper and molybdenum sulphide mineralization in the first few trenches, the IP survey has been extended from the initial 31 line kms to 48 line kms to cover the entire 16 km2 of granodiorite. The results from the trenching program combined with the final interpretation IP survey results will lead to the definition of first priority targets to be drilled at Nicholas-Denys.

The current surface exploration program is being conducted to extend the contiguous Hache and Shaft Zones which form part of the 10 km long Rocky Brook Corridor along the southern margin of the large Nicholas-Denys Porphyry system. Very high grade massive to semi-massive samples grading up-to 7.42 g/t Au, 3,030 g/t Ag, 0.27% Cu, 60.0% Pb and 14.4% Zn were collected at surface at the west end of the Hache zone and at the both ends of Shaft zone.
