Nextraction Announces Successful Stimulation of Horizontal Well on Its Viking Light Oil Property in Provost, Alberta

Nextraction Energy Corp. (TSXV:NE) (the "Company" or "Nextraction") is pleased to announce that the Company has successfully fracture stimulated the 102/12-36-036-07W4 ("12-36") horizontal well on its light oil property in Provost, Alberta. The well was drilled into the Viking formation at a depth of 800 meters with a horizontal leg of 570 meters. The well was fractured stimulated in 13 stages with 10 tonnes of sand per stage. The well was flowed back on clean up to recover the frack fluid and immediately began producing light oil. The well is currently shut-in to install surface facilities and pumping equipment to place the well into continuous production.

(TSX VENTURE: NE) (the "Company" or "Nextraction") is pleased to announce that the Company has spud the 102/12-36-036-07W4 ("12-36") horizontal well on its light oil property in Provost, Alberta. The well is targeting the Viking formation at a depth of 800 meters and will have a horizontal leg of approximately 650 meters. The well is being drilled on the same geological trend as the Company's successful 102/16-34-036-07W4 drilled in August 2012, which has recovered over 26,000 bbls of oil to date. Two successful wells drilled on offsetting land in 2013 on the same trend have produced over 16,000 bbls of oil combined in their first 5 months of production.

(TSX VENTURE: NE) (the "Company" or "Nextraction") announces that it has entered into an amending agreement to extend the principal repayment of its non-revolving term loan facility (the "Loan Facility") with Tallinn Capital Mezzanine Limited Partnership ("Tallinn"). Tallinn has agreed to waive monthly net sales production minimum requirement and minimum current ratio requirements which the Company had been in default of until September 30, 2013. Furthermore, subject to the debentures proposed to be offered pursuant to the Company's recently announced proposed short form prospectus offering (the "Offering") being subordinated and postponed to the Loan Facility on terms acceptable to Tallinn, the successful completion of the Offering and the Company not otherwise being in default under the Loan Facility, Tallinn has also agreed to waive requirements to repay the Loan Facility from proceeds of the Offering beyond the first $2 million of the principal amount owing under the Loan Facility on the earlier of September 30, 2013 or the closing of the Offering.
