M2 - Wed Jan 15, 4:00AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/kkfw46/europe_seed) has announced the addition of the "Global Europe Seed Treatment Market Report 2013-2018" report to their offering. Chemical seed treatments, which are typically manufactured from petrochemical or inorganic raw materials, are further segmented as insecticides, fungicides, and other chemical seed treatments. The market is dominated by chemical insecticides, accounting for over 52.2% of the total seed treatment demand in 2012. The fungicide seed treatments market is growing at a CAGR of 10.5% and is expected to reach $232.4 million by 2018. The insecticides seed treatment market is projected to reach $338.3 million by 2018, growing at a CAGR of 10.1% Rising GM seed prices and cost effectiveness of seed treatments over other crop protection methods are expected to drive the demand for the seed treatment market in the near future. However, an absence of centralized government regulations for treated seed and seed treatment active ingredient registration are expected to hamper the growth and demand for seed treatments in the next five years. One of the critical success factors (CSFs) in the market is the ability of a market participant to innovate a complete protection solution against various biotic and abiotic stresses in a single product. This battle of most of the grower-friendly, crop-friendly and environment-friendly product innovations are going to be one of the key strategy market players following the seed treatment industry in the next five years. Global Animal Feed Antioxidants Market & Forecasts Report, 2016
M2 - Fri Dec 20, 5:06AM CST
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/jcv7r4/global_animal) has announced the addition of the "Global Animal Feed Antioxidants Market & Forecasts Report, 2016" report to their offering. One of the key drivers contributing to the growth of this market is the growing concerns about animal health and safety. Factors such as the increase in the use of antibiotics in animal feed in the recent past and its consequence on meat consumers have raised concerns over the effects on human health. Owing to this reason, acceptable daily intakes of antioxidants have been established to counter the use of antibiotics. With the increasing demand for naturally processed meat from consumers, the Animal Feed industry has been increasingly demanding that natural antioxidants be used in the feed. Research studies have found extracts from plants and natural compounds to be very helpful in improving the quality of meat. It has also been found that extracts of various herbs and spices have high antioxidant capacity. For instance, some plants from the Lamiaceae species are reported to have a high antioxidant capacity. Essential oil found in the phenolic compound content of these plants is also reported to have a high antioxidant capacity. Natural antioxidants are used in some stages of the meat production process as such antioxidants are reported to improve the shelf life of meat and improve its quality. Therefore, the increasing demand for natural antioxidants is an emerging trend that is expected to have a positive impact on the growth of the Global Animal Feed Antioxidants market. Further, the report states that one of the key challenges is the impact of livestock production on global warming. The increase in livestock production across the world increases greenhouse gas emissions such as methane gas emissions and carbon dioxide emissions. Additives such as preservatives, antioxidants, emulsifiers & stabilizers, colors, and flavor enhancers have attracted attention over the years. The global frozen bakery additives industry has been on a higher growth trajectory for the last few years. The role of food additives in food processing has been very important over the years. There are a number of classes of additives which include preservatives, antioxidants, emulsifiers, stabilizers, thickeners, flavor enhancers, sweeteners, colors and others. It would be impossible without food additives for the food manufacturing industry to provide a wide range of safe, wholesome, nutritious, and attractive products at affordable prices all year round in order to meet consumer requirements for quality, convenience, and variety. They are essential in the batteries of tools used by the food manufacturer to convert agricultural raw materials into products that are safe, stable, of consistent quality, and readily prepared and consumed. For the purpose of both classification and regulation, they are grouped according to their primary function. The world is witnessing an increase in the number of bakery additives businesses, with consumers opting for the more reasonably priced frozen bakery products. Hence, the frozen bakery additives market is also growing. Since additives are used for one or more functions, they are an important part of the bakery industry. For example, lecithin is used in frozen bakery as an emulsifier or a stabilizing agent. Similarly, different acids act as preservatives and antioxidants. For example, lactic acid found in milk and milk products is used in the frozen bakery industry for increasing the shelf life and flavor of the product. The growth of this market segment banks on the consumer's preference of frozen bakery products. This growth will be maintained in the future with an opportunity to produce new specialty bakery additives with plenty of innovations for health-conscious consumers which will provide nutritive value as well. Global Renewable Chemicals Market Report 2013-2018
M2 - Mon Sep 09, 11:13AM CDT
Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/757c6f/renewable) has announced the addition of the "Global Renewable Chemicals Market Report 2013-2018" report to their offering. This report examines the global trends and forecasts for the renewable chemicals market looking at alcohols (ethanol, methanol), biopolymers (starch, pla, pha, polyethylene & others), platform chemicals and various others to the year 2018. The renewable chemicals market includes all the chemicals obtained from renewable feedstock such as agricultural raw materials, agricultural waste products or biomass microorganisms etc. The development of this market is driven by the fact that renewable chemicals decouple economic growth from finite, non-renewable resource consumption, and also help diversify the feedstock portfolio. The market is currently facing considerable competition from conventional chemicals derived from petrochemical feedstock. Because the chemicals market is susceptible to the volatility in crude oil prices, market participants are increasingly experiencing the need to make a paradigm shift from petrochemical feedstock to renewable feedstock. This move would not only bring in economic benefits, it would also successfully address the rising concern over greenhouse gas emissions and their lasting impact on the natural environment. This report relies on various secondary sources such as company's annual reports, organizational websites and databases to identify and collect information vital for this extensive commercial study of renewable chemicals. The primary sources - selected experts from related industries and selected suppliers have been interviewed to obtain and verify critical information as well as to assess the future prospects of renewable chemicals. Scope of the Report: Products: - Alcohols - Organic Acids - Ketones - Polymers and - Others (Bio-based 1,3-PDO, ECH and 1,4-BDO) Applications: - Transportation - Textiles - Food safety - Environment - Communication - Housing - Recreation - Health & Hygiene - Bio-Medical - Agriculture - Other Applications Key Topics Covered: 1 Introduction 2 Executive Summary 3 Market Overview 4 Renewable Chemicals, By Product Types 5 Platform Chemicals 6 Renewable Chemicals Market, By Applications 7 Renewable Chemicals Market, By Geography 8 Catalysis & Technologies 9 Coconut & Palm Oil 10 C11 Polyamides & Derivatives 11 Methyl Ester 12 Competitive Landscape 13 Company Profiles Companies Mentioned - Amyris Inc - Archer-Daniels-Midland Company - BASF SE - Bioamber Inc - Biomethanol Chemie Nederland BV - Braskem - Cargill Inc - DSM - E I DU Pont DE Nemours & Company - Evonik Industries AG - Genomatica Inc - Metabolix, Inc - Myriant Corporation - Natureworks LLC - Novozymes A/S - OPX Biotechnologies - Solazyme Inc - Solvay - The Dow Chemical Company - UOP LLC - Verenium Corp For more information visit http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/757c6f/renewable
