What a mess we have here…I expect clarity soon.
AVNE & Darryl - I never trusted him (D). In fact, my business is in a sort of niche, and one of the reasons I've been hugely successful is my ability to read people.
I spoke with Darryl often - he was bullshitting me and I knew it. He more than once used the phrase "sell your shares...and buy back"…and after catching up on our board this a.m. I realize even though I picked up on other red flags, that was the signal…he would not say that if he was genuinely interested in the success of the company. He wasn't being sincere or trying to help me by selling my shares…he had an agenda, and let it infect his role as IR.
I've been thinking all weekend about whether or not to dump my shares at bell today, no need to lie to you friends about it. And I no longer own enough to create any collateral damage.
However…When AVNE got suspended…and I know D is behind the curtain there…all I could think was he was meddling with our baby, stirring the pot, and that's what happened. The SEC has been retardedly inefficient at busting P&D's/etc. and it's vague BS MMJ awareness campaign makes me feel even more strongly that the SEC is selective to serve an agenda. I find it very very hard to believe after all the horse shit I've seen in the OTC, that this was just the SEC doing what they do. I find it much more likely that AVNE (D) barked up the wrong tree, and this was a way it could be squashed from a 3rd party. It's easy to believe what you want to believe…so I'm trying to work merely on logic...
