I-Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE: IMA)(PINKSHEETS: IMAHF) (the "Company") announces that further to the Company's press releases of August 15 and October 2, 2013, I-Minerals has completed drilling in the Kelly's Hump area, part of the Helmer-Bovill property, Latah County, Idaho. As noted in the October 2, 2013 press release, of the initial 17 holes in the Kelly's Hump area, nine holes returned strong concentrations of halloysite with thicknesses ranging from 5 to 30 feet with halloysite concentrations (of the total rock mass) ranging from 11% to 19%. The Company subsequently received drill collar locations from SRK Consulting (USA) Inc.("SRK") allowing for the areas of greater halloysite concentrations to be better defined at 200-foot drill hole spacing. The objective of the drill program was to define the resource in the Kelly's Hump area in sufficient detail that a measured resource can be calculated. With all 168 drill holes set out by SRK completed which infilled two subareas on 100-foot centers, the drill program has been successfully concluded and I-Minerals is moving forward with the resource calculation.

I-Minerals Begins In-Fill Drilling to Upgrade Bovill Kaolin to Proven Reserve
Marketwire - Thu Aug 15, 8:02AM CDT
I-Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE: IMA)(PINKSHEETS: IMAHF) (the "Company") announces it has commenced an infill drill program with the objective of upgrading the Probable Reserve as set out in the Company's Pre-Feasibility Study to a Proven Reserve, (see I-Minerals Press Release of January 3, 2013 or the full 43-101 report filed on the Company's website and SEDAR). The current Probable Reserve of 3.995 million tons ("mt") containing 2.243 mt of high purity quartz sands, 0.897 mt of k-feldspar sand, 0.709 mt of kaolinite clay and 0.147 mt of halloysite clays was based upon drilling at 200 foot centres. The process of upgrading the reserve to a Proven Reserve requires the drill spacing to be reduced to 100 foot centres. This will require up to 160 holes being completed. However given that the targeted horizon is areas where the underlying Thatuna Granodiortite has been weathered to a sand/clay-like material referred to as "primary clay", all of the holes will be short, with most less than 100 feet. Drilling is expected to take up to 90 days with the Proven Reserve estimate expected to be completed in Q1 2014
