Gemalto's Mobile ID service platform enables end users to authenticate themselves to any web site via any type of mobile phone with a convenient 'one click' experience, regardless of the mobile operator's specific environment and the level of assurance required for the service. Gemalto brings to the initiative its full portfolio of SIM software applets, which provide all the different levels of assurance required by the different types of service providers, and its portfolio of authentication servers, that are offered either in conventional software licensing mode or in Software as a Service (SaaS) mode, operated by Gemalto.
