MAG Silver Announces Start of Juanicipio Underground Development

MAG Silver Corp. (TSX: MAG)(NYSE MKT: MVG) ("MAG" or the "Company") announces that its joint venture partner and project operator, Fresnillo plc ("Fresnillo"), has commenced underground development at the Juanicipio project located in the Fresnillo District, Zacatecas State, Mexico. Portal area preparation is in the final stages of completion and a continuous miner is planned to start excavating the uppermost part of the access ramp (see photo, visit following link: http://file.marketwire.com/release/development_photo.jpg). The initiation of underground work follows a year of engineering, hydrological and environmental studies in support of required permits, all of which are now in hand. The underground work is being carried out under a previously approved initial development budget that includes the commencement of the first 2,500 metres of ramp advancement. The Juanicipio Project is held in Minera Juanicipio S.A. de C.V. ("Minera Juanicipio"), a Mexican joint venture company owned 44% by MAG and 56% by Fresnillo.

Colibri Resource Corporation ("Colibri" or the "Company") (TSX.V-CBI)is pleased to provide an update of exploration activities at the 506 hectare Evelyn Gold Project, near the town of Caborca in Sonora, Mexico. Evelyn in located approximately 13 kilometres to the northeast of the Noche Buena Gold Mine (Minera Penmont JV - Fresnillo PLC 56%, Newmont USA Ltd. 44%), and about 20 kilometres to the northwest of the Company's Colibri/Pitaya Gold Project. The conceptual target at Evelyn is orogenic-style gold mineralization, similar to other projects in the Caborca area. The project has small scale historic artisanal gold workings on northeast and northwest-trending vein structures in altered and locally schistose volcanic host rock.

The Company has recently received results of an exploration program on the El Indio and Pelonachi properties which included mapping and channel sampling during the months of November to January. Also included was improvements to access roads in certain areas of the Pelonachi property. A total of 222 geochemical samples were taken on the El Indio property and 488 samples were taken on the Pelonachi property. The El Indio and Pelonachi claims are part of Alliance's 4,872 hectare land package located totaling nearly 50 square kilometres primarily in the Uruachic district of northwestern Mexico. The land package puts Alliance in the heart of a prolific gold exploration area and includes the closest privately held claims, within four kilometres, to Fresnillo PLC's important Orisyvo discovery (www.fresnilloplc.com). Fresnillo is the world's largest primary silver producer and the second-largest gold producer in Mexico. However, the Orisyvo discovery may change that.
