Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) ("Teck") announced today that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with Copper Fox Metals Inc. regarding the Schaft Creek property in northern British Columbia, under which, Teck will hold a 75% interest in Schaft Creek and Copper Fox will hold 25%. Schaft Creek is a copper-gold exploration property situated approximately 80 kilometers south of Telegraph Creek in Northwest British Columbia and approximately 26 km northeast of the Galore Creek property in which Teck holds a 50% interest.

One group is located inside the Schaft Creek copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project located in northern British Columbia. The second group is contiguous to and increases the size of the Sombrero Butte copper project located in Pinal County, Arizona. Mr. Stewart stated "the purpose for the acquisition of these mineral claims at Schaft Creek is to provide additional coverage of the interpreted extension of the Schaft Creek mineral trend and infrastructure purposes. Copper Fox Metals Inc. ("Copper Fox" or the "Company") (TSX-Venture: CUU) announces that the Board of Directors of the Company has authorized, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, an amendment to 1,000,000 incentive stock options (the "Options") granted to officers of the Company to extend the expiry date of the Options to January 11, 2014. The Options were subject to a Trading Blackout imposed by the Company for a significant period of time pending the preparation and completion of the Company's Positive Feasibility Study of the Shaft Creek deposit, and were set to expire in accordance with the terms of the Company's stock option plan following the release of the results of the Company's Positive Feasibility Study. As a result, the Board of Directors of the Company has determined it advisable to extend the expiry date of the Options to January 11, 2014.
