Don't cry for Sanusi Lamido Sanusi; he was about to finish his term anyway. The real issues are: Did he do his job well for the period he was in charge of our Central Bank? Was SLS right to raise alarm over missing trillions? Should the NNPC and the Minister of Petroleum spend money on "subsidy" without appropriation? Does a president have the option to kick out an 'inconvenient' Central Bank Governor? These and similar concerns should be our focus more than lamenting over the manner he, SLS, was kicked out.
