HK's Li buys Dutch waste company for $1.3B

HONG KONG (AP) — Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing is buying a Dutch waste and renewable energy company for 943.7 million euros ($1.3 billion), his companies said Monday, as the infrastructure and utilities businesses of Asia's richest man expand further internationally.

HONG KONG (AP) — Billionaire Li Ka-shing's Hong Kong conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa said Tuesday that profit last year fell by about half compared with the previous year when income was inflated by a huge one-time gain.
