2013 Report on the International Power Rental Market

M2 - Thu Jan 02, 8:46AM CST

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/zdr57c/global_power) has announced the addition of the "2013 Report on the International Power Rental Market" report to their offering. Commenting on the report, an analyst from the team said: The lack of investment in the Power sector is another trend being witnessed in the Global Power Rental market. The investment required in the construction of new power plants and the maintenance of the existing power plants is lesser than the investment required to bridge the demand-supply gap for electricity. Power plants that are currently under construction will take at least two to four years to become completely operational. As a result of this scenario and the lack of investment in power projects, utility providers are increasingly using rental power to meet the increasing demand for electricity. According to the report, there are several drivers contributing to the growth of the Global Power Rental market, the most important of which is the increasing demand-supply gap for energy used for power generation. The increasing demand for power across the globe could limit its supply in the future. To mitigate this problem, there has been an increasing use of rental power. Further, the report states that one of the key challenges in this market is the stringent emission regulations imposed by the EPA. These regulations are formulated with an aim to reduce hazardous emissions of gases from diesel generator sets. Key Topics Covered: 1. Executive Summary 2. Scope of the Report 3. M2 - Wed Jul 17, 8:38AM CDT

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/9b523t/construction) has announced the addition of the "Construction Equipment Rental Market Report - UK 2013-2017 Analysis" report to their offering. The UK construction equipment rental market is estimated to be worth approximately ?3.6 billion in 2012, having experienced marginal growth compared to 2011. Market decline 2007 to 2009 was significant, due to the impact of the economic and construction downturn.
