AquaBased Technologies, a division of ADM Tronics Unlimited, Inc. (OTCQB:ADMT), has introduced AquaTack(TM) 7001-PAA, a new, eco-friendly, water-based adhesive specifically designed for use in flexographic presses and other roller coater applicators for the lamination of virtually any type of low surface energy plastic films as well as for other plastic-to-plastic bonding applications. Most plastic bonding adhesives use a solvent base to achieve bonding to plastic surfaces. It has been a challenge to achieve high bond levels to plastic surfaces with water-based adhesives - until the development of AquaTack(TM) 7001-PAA.
