Albina Community Bancorp (OTCBB:ACBC), the holding company of Albina Community Bank, the only certified community development bank headquartered in Portland, today reported that higher than anticipated expenses related to year-end strategic charge offs impacted net income in both the fourth quarter and full year in 2012. Albina lost $379,000, or $(0.29) per share in 2012, compared to earning $292,000, or $0.22 per share in 2011. For the fourth quarter of 2012, the net loss was $741,000, or $(0.56) per share, compared to net income of $252,000, or $0.19 per share in the preceding quarter and $157,000, or $0.12 per share in the fourth quarter of 2011.
