I'm hoping Igor still plans on allowing that information to be released to the public (which, I believe is a MUST, as there are SEC requirements that a PUBLICLY TRADED COMPANY must comply with - regardless of any "gag" order by the FAA).
I believe the simulator training (8 days long) could actually be post-poned to as late as the last 2 weeks of April.....bringing the completion of the C-checks on N706BL and the training of the crew all together at the same time on May 1........but I don't believe delaying the training "till the very last minute" is anything remotely close to a good idea. God forbid they discover more changes necessary in the training manuals at that time, and then the training gets delayed on into May.......
Logically, prudently, I would think that simulator training should resume as soon as possible.
I am hoping this occurs this month and is completed by the end of March or the very beginning of April. For me, that would suggest a Press Release somewhere around that 1st week in April.
Now, I know the pps at the present time truly means very little (since we longs are all here till at least first flight - which I still believe will be sometime in August), but gradual step ups to the pps and plateaus (like we just saw) are inevitable. With so many day traders buying low and then selling off high for profits, it is inevitable that BLTA's pps will climb like the steps on a staircase.
It is just that, in my opinion, the sooner we begin that climb the better....and the higher we can go.
Good luck to all.....I'm expecting the next step up to be 3 to 4 weeks from now.
