Acting under the name Shadow Trader on Pinnacle Digest I won the Feb stock challenge:

Ginguro Exploration Inc. (GEG:TSXV) rallied 15% on the final day of February's Stock Challenge to secure the victory for long-time member 'Shadow Trader' .

Shadow Trader's combined average return of 63.21% was enough to hold off all other Challengers in February's Stock Challenge .

As always, Shadow Trader's victory was a story of perfect timing. Ginguro appeared to be range bound after closing at $0.23 for 5 consecutive days between the 19th and 25th of February, before making its move.

Ginguro closed at $0.25 on the 26th, $0.26 on the 27th and then finally rose 15%, to $0.30 per share, on the last day of trading to secure the Championship for Shadow Trader.

Ginguro closed at $0.13 on January 31st 2014, rallying more than 100% in the month.

Shadow Trader's winning selections consisted of two TSX Venture stocks and were representative of an exchange that is clawing its way back to life. His two picks were among the most volatile, from an annual perspective, in the entire Stock Challenge.

Ginguro Exploration has a 52-week low of $0.025 and a 52-week high of $0.40. Garibaldi Resources , Shadow Trader's second selection, has a 52-week high of $0.24 and a 52-week low of $0.04.

The TSX Venture found its way into positive territory for 14 of the 19 trading days in the month of February. The Venture began the month at 951.32 and finished at 1025.37.

Member 'JimmyBoy' had another incredible month, and finished in 2nd place. JimmyBoy knows all too well what it's like to have the lead and lose it. His recovery towards the end of this month shines light on what a consistently superb stock picker he has become.

No one deserved the People's Champ award in February more than otter1! Otter1 held the top spot for multiple days down the stretch, but did not have enough to hold off Shadow Trader in the end.

otter1 has been awarded the People’s Champ for February. The People's Champ is a selective award associated with Pinnacle's Stock Challenge, and is given to the participant who failed to win, but nonetheless made a name for himself. It comes with no prizes and unfortunately, no glory.

Dust yourself off and get back in there next month otter1! Congrats on an exceptional February - you should be mighty proud of your 53.25% combined average return.

Member 'minerjoe' is another long-time Challenger that was so close he could almost taste it, just one day from the finish line. Minerjoe was in 2nd by only 2 percentage points late Thursday. Unfortunately, one of his key selections collapsed Thursday afternoon and into trading Friday. From 2nd to 13th in a day and a half! It was only last year when minerjoe had the lead in our Stock Challenge with 15 minutes to go, and in a sudden turn of events, was knocked out of first spot. Keep up the in-depth research and look to improve on your 37.70% combined average return next month! Minerjoe is due for a Stock Challenge championship...

Only 2 past Stock Challenge Champs finished in the top 20 of February's Stock Challenge. Tried and true, long-time member mountaineer78 finished in 7th place with an impressive 43.86% combined average return.

Previous champion 'BrotherJ' finished in 14th place with a 34.76% combined average return.
