It certainly could be.  The SEC is the regulatory body that wields the pen.  They can investigate or suspend who they wish if there are questions or complaints that consistently arise.  Whether they are correct or not is an entirely different matter.  However, it will definitely burn my britches to know we are being smeared, tarnished and lowered to the lowest level on false charges and claims.  The exoneration or validation part is definitely a possibility, but the climbing up the ladder and delay that we now have to go through, including any panic sell off is more of an annoyance then anything.  I think it is what fired most of us up in the beginning; the not knowing.  Most of us tend to react and protect first and rationalize later when it comes to our wallets.  Guilty as charged, me included. Doesn't mean I will sell and run like the "machine" is suggesting on that crooked website, but not being there and reading the rampant half-truths and outright lies is fairly refreshing.
