My revised “Schedule to First Flight”
March – finish tweaking training manuals. Simulator training (8 business days long) will be post-poned to beginning of April in order to bring Kalitta, Baltia, the training manuals, and the FAA all onto “1 page” when it comes to this final, critical part of the training (honestly, the simulator part does not have to be completed until N706BL is about 2 weeks away from its C-checks completion – think about it. The crew and the plane BOTH only have to be ready by the beginning of May). (pps fluctuates between .02 and .03).
April - N706BL gets its C-checks, cadre wraps up simulator training and probably some table top exercises and any remaining classroom practical items as they prepare for phase III – the phase that requires a fully operational N706BL. Press release about the completion of training and the entering into of phase III is released on or about April 15. 10-K is released for 2013, and Flaflyersfan bashes the hell out of it (because it relates only to 2013 and shows none of the major advancements that Baltia has seen in the first quarter of 2014). (pps fluctuates between .03 and .04).
May - proving flights and mini-evac, middle of May Baltia gets the right to begin ticket sales and advertising begins, pps fluctuates at just over 10 cents. Video of N706BL flying towards JFK is released to the media. 10-Q is released for 1st quarter 2014 and some of the major advances that Baltia has achieved in early 2014 are released. Flaflyersfan goes back to talking about Baltia only having one plane and taking 24 years to get to this point. (pps fluctuates between .04 and .06).
June - Baltia gets its certificate from the FAA and now is waiting (45 days) for Russian "acceptance" of the FAA certificate. (pps fluctuates between .05 and .07).
July - towards end of July, Russian acceptance is received and Baltia schedules 1st flight to occur in early August. (pps jumps to over 15 cents).
August - 1st flight, operations begin and Baltia is now the talk of the town (God willing!). (pps sky rockets to ?).
Any thoughts?
