I couldn't disagree with you more, you are trying to compare apples to pineapples, handling financial regulatory issues is completely different than handling mining operations.  No investor likes seeing the "E", but I would much rather him focus his efforts on getting the mine into production.

I don't believe the CEO lied or is unable to handle the problem. The biggest problem that I see is that he gave a specific/definitive time frame for resolving a regulatory problem. We all should know that by now the government is going to work at their pace and that if we think it should be done in a couple of days, you should plan on it taking a couple of weeks.
