I won't justify outright bashing, but you are basically saying releasing true information about a company is bashing somehow? You are satisfied with the answer? Cause I sure as hell am not, he basically told everyone to screw off and it just ended without any information as to why it happened and why there was no PR. I hope he comes with some real PR sometime this week to explain what is going on, but that is not how this should have been handled. Yes, he is out the country, yes he has someone else in charge, but if they messed up, we need to know.
