OPK Daily Chart ~ Friday's Move Saw the Stock Trade Outside the Upper Bollie
Friday's move in OPK saw the stock move completely outside the upper bollie. Look at the chart and notice the previous times OPK traded outside the upper bollie. No one even knows how far a stock might fall when returning within the bollies, so taking profits is never a bad idea. I chose to sell my 1000 share purchase at 8.62 of Feb 21 at 9.98 for a quick gain of 15.77%. I initially entered the sell at 10.20 on the bid, but missed it as a few thousand shares sold before my order hit. I should have used a market order as OPK trades on the NYSE and probably would have still given me an execution in the 10.15 area. The stock continued to decline the rest of the day and closed at 9.52, just above the MA100. I'll be looking to re-enter so OPK stays on watch for now. GLTA
